Early Childhood Mental Health Certificate Scholarship Program
As part of the Community Resource Development Grant award, Queen Anne’s County Community Partnerships for Children and Families has funding to pay for one participant to enroll in the Early Childhood Mental Health Certificate Program offered by the University of Maryland Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The purpose of the Early Childhood Mental Health Certificate Program is to offer specialized training to master level clinicians in core knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to begin practicing in the field of early childhood mental health.
Admittance to the program is competitive. Registration requirements include:
Master’s level degree (or higher) in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Education, Nursing or equivalent degrees
Submission of a resume or curriculum vitae
In addition to the University of Maryland requirements, Queen Anne’s County Community Partnerships for Children and Families will require the successful scholarship applicant to:
provide three one-day workshops in Queen Anne’s County for early childhood program staff and childcare providers on early childhood mental health within one year of certification completion
Preference will also be given to applicants who indicate:
a commitment to provide early childhood mental health services in Queen Anne’s County for at least 12 months after certificate completion
at least two years of experience in early childhood programs in Queen Anne’s County
a willingness to collaborate with early childhood programs and mental health providers in Queen Anne’s County

FORMS FOR PARTNERSHIP VENDORS
Required Queen Anne's County Vendor Forms: As a Vendor to the Queen Anne's County Community Partnerships for Children and Families you are required to fill out a W-9 form in its entirety and complete a separate County agreement form (both forms are combined when you click the link). These forms must be on file in the County Finance office (Accounting Division) before any checks will be issued. Once the forms are complete, fax them along with your first invoice to: (410) 758-6904.
From time to the Community Partnerships for Children is able to make it's conference room available to outside community organizations for meetings and other gatherings. The room holds 12 people comfortably. To find out about availability call or email the Community Partnerships and then download the Conference Room Usage Agreement form, complete it and fax it to (410) 758-6905.
THE STATE OF MARYLAND POLICIES & PROCEDURES MANUAL FOR LOCAL MANAGEMENT BOARDS
Issued by the Children’s Cabinet Effective July 1, 2009, (RECENTLY UPDATED) this Manual provides instruction on the administration and management of Maryland’s Local Management Boards (LMBs). The Manual shall be incorporated by reference into LMB contracts with the Children’s Cabinet and each LMB shall incorporate the relevant contents of this Manual into its contracts with providers, vendors, consultants, grantees and others.
