Find a Community Resource Easily!!!!!!

In an attempt to make it easier for Queen Anne's County citizens to easily access services and contact helpful organizations, the Community Partnerships for Children and Families established the Resource Promotion and Awareness Program originally known as QAC Helps!   It is now know as Chesapeake Helps.  Chesapeake Helps is an information and referral program which families can use to link to resources for themselves and their children.

Chesapeake Helps is a partnership between the Queen Anne's County Community Partnerships for Children, Chesapeake College and Chesapeake Child Care Resource Center and the Local Management Boards in Caroline, Dorchester, Kent and Talbot Counties.

Building on the existing infrastructure of QAC Helps!, Chesapeake Helps now serves as the Single Point of Access for mid-shore children and family resources.  The Community Partnerships for Children and Families also sees this service as an opportunity to strengthen resource awareness and access for the general population. With thorough marketing, the Local Management Board and planning team members hope Chesapeake Helps will be known to everyone in the community as a reliable source of information to utilize services for teens, young children, adults, elders, and especially families.  The toll free telephone number for Chesapeake Helps is 1-866-722-HLPS and the website is www.chesapeakehelps.org
